Accounts Payable Vendor Specialist

Fort Myers, FL

The Accounts Payable Vendor Specialist will monitor and distribute all invoices sent to Accounts Payable through US mail, AP email, and interoffice mail along with various other AP job duties as outlined below.

Job Duties

• Monitor AP email maintaining vendor worksheet for tracking purposes; email large volume of invoices into Basware P2P system
• Create online access to vendor portals where needed; retrieve invoice copies
• Request W-9 form from new vendors
• Maintain new vendor setup and W-9 files
• Set up new vendors in accounting system
• Review statements and request invoice copies where needed, various platforms accessed
• Distribute incoming US mail and interoffice mail to various departments
• Maintain roster of previous year paper invoices kept inhouse and outside storage
• Provide copies of invoices to outside auditors upon request
• Monitor/maintain Pitney Bowes machine for postage needs
• Order office supplies for Finance department
• Monitor AXIS security camera at door entrance for Suites 440 and 460, greet guests
• Assist AP Director with various projects where needed

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has none.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 2 years related experience and/or training. Knowledge of W-9/1099 process
