Sr. Mgr., Business Systems (Sage Intacct)

The Senior Business Systems Manager will be responsible for managing the business systems. The Senior Manager ensures the security and stability of the information systems by conducting regular diagnostic tests and verifying that performance meets quality standards and requirements. They also lead the business technology team in designing system networks and collaborating on process improvement techniques to identify process gaps and evaluate the efficiency of control procedures.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans for business systems to align with organizational goals.
- Lead the implementation of new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
- Ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and meet the needs of the business.
- Support and improve automated processes, streamline critical business processes, ensure data integrity and compliance, and develop innovative business applications, particularly for the finance business team.
- Manage and mentor a team of business analysts and system administrators.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities.
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope.
- Utilize project management methodologies to track progress and report on project status.
- Enjoy taking on challenging, multi-faceted initiatives and coordinating stakeholders and team members to achieve high-quality, on-time project delivery.
- Identify opportunities for system integration and process automation.
- Work with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize system performance and user experience.
- Plan, design, and execute approved configuration changes.
- Maintain the ERP system (e.g., Sage Intacct) improvements roadmap and deliver new features and integrated solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business system-related inquiries and issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
- Effectively communicate system changes and updates to the organization.
- Document business requirements, expressing the actions a solution must take and the expected outcomes.
- Facilitate the customer's decision-making process and develop functional design documents to drive the development process for business applications.
- Ensure business systems comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to protect sensitive data.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.
- Provide support and administration for ERP (e.g., Sage Intacct) platforms for all finance functions and manage issues to resolution.
- Work directly with other business system experts/resources to deliver ERP services consistent with corporate direction.
- Demonstrate excellent guest service to internal team members and patients.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in business systems management or a related field.
- Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.).
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong understanding of business processes and systems integration.
- Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with ERP systems, CRM platforms, and other enterprise software.
- Knowledge of data security and compliance standards.
- This position may require occasional travel.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Physical Demands
Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Ability to lift to 15 lbs. independently not to exceed 50 lbs. without help.
