The Physical Security Administrator will support all business units within Mosaic Health and is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, programming, modification and/or expansion of the Security Access Control System, Closed Circuit Television Surveillance, research operational system irregularities, monitors data integrity, provides solutions to identified issues, and manages multiple completing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes and develops technical and business requirements, evaluation criteria and recommendations for acquisitions of highly technical safety and physical security hardware and software systems and services.
- Installs and configures security hardware and software.
- Monitors systems operations, analyzes problems or malfunctions, performs software programming and development, and takes corrective action to maintain optimal systems operations.
- Provides systems reports and evidence as necessary to support investigations.
- Analyzes existing systems processes and develops and implements recommended improvements.
- Provides physical security training and awareness programs to associates remotely or at an assigned site or in a regional area.
- Demonstrate excellent guest service to internal team members and patients.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Requires a H.S. diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience of highly technical physical security systems and security software.
- Experience in working with information technology security applications.
- Hands-on experience in designing physical security systems.
- Knowledge of physical security administration.
- Experience working with PC-based systems operation and programming.
- A commitment to providing excellent service to internal team members and patients.
- High level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Preferred Certifications
- BA/BS degree or professional certification related to systems engineering preferred.
- Certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (ASIS), Physical Security Professional (PSP) Certification, Network +, Security +, Physical security software factory certifications are strongly preferred.
Physical Demands
- Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Ability to lift to 15 lbs. independently not to exceed 50 lbs. without help.
