The IT Procurement Lead will support all business units within Mosaic Health and is responsible for overseeing the strategic sourcing and procurement of IT hardware, software, and services to meet the organization's technological needs efficiently and cost-effectively. This role involves managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and optimizing IT procurement processes. The IT Procurement Lead collaborates with IT, finance, and legal teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive procurement strategies to support the Mosaic's IT initiatives and integration efforts.
  • Collaborate with IT, finance, and compliance teams to assess technology needs, budget constraints, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the vendor selection process, ensuring the evaluation and selection of suppliers based on quality, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with vendors to secure optimal terms for
  • Foster and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure high service levels and swift resolution of any issues.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and other federal guidelines.
  • Monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and market conditions to recommend innovative and cost-effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency, compliance, and risk management.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports and analyses to senior management, providing insights into spending, savings, and process improvements.
  • Lead and mentor the procurement team, promoting professional development and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits of procurement processes and vendor performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT procurement, vendor management, or IT asset management
  • Extensive experience in IT procurement, with a preference for experience within the healthcare sector
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with demonstrated experience in leading procurement teams
  • In-depth knowledge of IT products, services, and current market trends
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, including HIPAA
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) are highly advantageous
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

Physical Demands
