The IT Procurement Specialist will support all business units within Mosaic Health and is responsible for
supporting IT purchasing activities, including vendor communication, purchase order management, and
contract administration. This role ensures that IT goods and services are acquired efficiently while maintaining compliance with procurement policies and healthcare regulations such as HIPAA.
Responsibilities
• Assist in processing IT purchase orders and tracking deliveries.
• Work with vendors to obtain quotes, manage invoices, and ensure timely payments.
• Support IT procurement negotiations and contract administration.
• Maintain accurate records of IT purchases and vendor agreements.
• Collaborate with IT and finance teams to ensure budget adherence.
• Assist in tracking IT asset inventory and lifecycle management.
• Ensure compliance with procurement and regulatory policies
• Demonstrate excellent guest service to internal team members and patients.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management,
or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT procurement or purchasing.
• Demonstrated experience in IT procurement, preferably within the healthcare industry.
• Familiarity with IT asset management and procurement tools.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, including HIPAA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and manage multiple
projects simultaneously.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Professional in
Supply Management (CPSM) are advantageous.
• A commitment to providing excellent service to internal team members and patients.
• High level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Physical Demands
• Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force
frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion.
Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker must have close
visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing;
viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Ability to lift to 15 lbs. independently not to exceed
50 lbs. without help.
