Summary

Support, counsel, coach, teach evaluate and serve as a role model for new clinical and clerical staff members. Will work directly with Operations Trainers to facilitate continued assistance to new acquisition offices by modeling best practices, observing tasks newly learned, completing progress reports and substituting in practice roles to keep practice operating while new staff is in training. Will lead new hires in remote locations through a modified 10-day orientation process

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assists building the annual training program via the Learning Council and Steering Committee and prepares the teaching plans.
  • Serves in an office as a backfill while office staff are in training.
  • Models the medical office best practices on a continuous basis.
  • Serve as a resource to newly hired staff by guiding new team members to appropriate resource materials in Millennium University,
  • Nurture, support and guide new team members through progress reports.
  • Provide valuable formative and summative feedback to the Operations trainers, EHR trainers and practice leaders.
  • Works as a subject matter expert with Instructional Designer and others to assist in developing training aids, programs, webinars, and group training activities.
  • Travel to offices in need of support, including some overnight travel.
  • Adhere to company Standards of Behaviors.

Education and/or Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years in a medical practice organization.
  • Possesses the expertise and knowledge of both the clinical and clerical workflow processes of MPG
  • Comfortable working one-on-one and in small group setting
  • Organizational Skills- can balance multiple responsibilities
  • Proven team player
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including listening
  • Attention to detail- carefully monitors the details and quality of own and others 'work
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in diverse settings.
  • Sound decision-making skills
  • Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Proficiency in MS Office and in database software
  • Versatile and flexible in a variety of settings
  • Creativity tempered with an understanding of the intended audience, client culture and learning preferences.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

 

Mathematical Skills

Ability to apply basic math, as necessary.

 

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have advanced proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel software; Microsoft Word Processing software, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook and ADP Payroll systems. Knowledge of Computers, Fax, Portals, Uploading, Downloading etc.

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

CMA, RMA, LPN preferred. Any certifications/licenses are to be kept in active good standing during employment.
