Summary

Perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.       

  • Assisting acquisition managers with preparation and editing new schedules prior and following Go Lives. Supporting the new staff with schedule changes during the initial post Go Live period.
  • Assisting acquisition managers with coverage of new office phones and front desk during the period when the staff are in formal training.
  • Assisting Clinical manager with document mining in either paper charts, or previous EMR, and scanning the documents into Athena for the purpose of abstracting clinical data.
  • Assisting managers in the support of the staff during the initial post Go Live period relative to phones, scanning, and schedule changes.
  • Other tasks as designated by the acquisition managers or management.
  • This position requires traveling to new office locations as needed

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CMA Preferred 

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Athena Database software; Microsoft Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software.
