Summary

The Outbound Caller is responsible for scheduling of practice patients from priority lists following the schedule templates and rules set in place per each Physician. In addition, the Outbound Caller is charged with ensuring that all of the Advanced Provider schedules are fully maximized according to their templates and rules. The Outbound Caller will utilize the following reporting tools to accomplish the above:

  • Priority Lists / Lightbeam
  • AWV Reports
  • Daily Tickler File
  • Excel Spreadsheet 

The Outbound Caller will work closely with either the Supervisor &/or Practice Manager to maintain corporate metrics and determined focus or any other assigned projects. Outbound Callers are responsible for documenting all call outcomes in the following:

  • EMR
  • Priority Lists
  • Lightbeam
  • Excel 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Provides quality service and support
  • No scheduling errors
  • Maintain corporate metrics
  • Sells another Physician/Advanced Provider when one is unavailable to patient
  • Fills schedules
  • No documentation errors on all reports
  • Performs all other job duties as requested

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. 

Mathematical Skills

No skills needed. 

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. 

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of; Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software.
